1. Industry Performance Surveys - These surveys are designed to help member firms better understand and improve their business performance by providing industry benchmarks against which they can compare their own operating results. These studies are designed to provide useable information as opposed to overwhelming your members with mounds of unintelligible data. The most common types of performance surveys conducted by Industry Insights are:

Financial Operating Surveys - composite financial and operating results of an industry. These surveys are extremely helpful in providing a barometer against which firms can compare their own performance in terms of key financial and operating performance areas.

Compensation & Benefits Surveys - statistical studies of compensation practices and employee benefits policies in an industry or profession.

Monthly or Quarterly "Pulse of the Industry" Surveys - ongoing surveys that track sales, inventories, receivables and/or other changes in the industry on a timely basis in order to monitor business performance as it happens.

Industry Profile/Market Size/Performance Surveys - specialized surveys that provide valuable insight into the structure, practices and characteristics of the members and the industry or field as a whole.

2. Opinion Surveys - These surveys measure attitudes and opinions, as opposed to benchmarking concrete data.

Member Needs Assessment Surveys - surveys to identify member needs, attitudes and opinions on a wide variety of issues. These are frequently used to plan the future direction of the services and activities provided to the members/affiliates.

Customer Satisfaction Surveys* - surveys that members can use to determine the extent to which their customers or clients are satisfied with the products and/or services the member provides.

Employee Opinion Surveys* - surveys used by members to identify employee attitudes and opinions on a wide variety of issues. The feedback from these surveys can be used by members to attract and retain quality employees.

3. Convention Presentations and Management Seminars - Industry Insights offers a wide variety of workshops, seminars and convention presentations on many subjects. Workshops and seminars are frequently related to or are report-outs of survey work. These are always custom-tailored to the industry and the audience sophistication level.

4. Special Research Projects - Industry Insights also frequently engages in highly specialized research projects for firms and organizations. These often require us to compile "hard-to-obtain" information as well as to provide creative, cost effective, research-based solutions to business problems.
